<image:title>Who we are - James Mitchell Technology Consultant</image:title>
<image:caption>James brings extensive experience and knowledge of software, as well as a background working in large corporates and the financial sector. James started out as an equity analyst in investment banking, specialising in the technology sector. His role also included advising on corporate finance, helping companies with buy-outs and mergers, raising capital in stock markets and interacting with their shareholders. His immersion into the world of software led him to take a master's degree in Computer Science at Bath University. “It is a discipline which involves learning how to solve problems - it’s this coupled with exposure to a wider range of technology which makes it much easier and quicker to provide cost-effective solutions for clients.” He then became a researcher at the university, specialising in what he describes as ‘big science’, in particular for major technology companies that needed a better understanding of how people interact with the technologies they use. Projects he worked on included wireless network security, privacy and trust. Seeking a fresh challenge James joined forces with his brother Andy at Bredon West. Today he leads the work of designing and implementing technology solutions for clients, be it with Salesforce, business intelligence solutions or customising ERPs.</image:caption>

<image:title>Salesforce Consultants - Implementation</image:title>
<image:caption>We make the implementation process painless and seamless, ensuring everything is working to your satisfaction. Our typical Salesforce implementation includes: Agree the outcomes with stakeholders Gather requirements from stakeholders Explore and document integrations or data imports Build proof of concepts Build other customisations Test, demo and gather feedback Documentation and training Communicate plan to go live Deploy and go live We are all about measurable results. Therefore we are realistic about what is achievable, we only present solutions that consider cost v benefit and we will always recommend applications if they already exist within the extensive Salesforce App Exchange. Saving you even more in development costs.</image:caption>

<image:title>Salesforce Consultants - Customisation and Development</image:title>
<image:caption>The no-code development tools within Salesforce make it possible to build custom apps quickly and efficiently, while creating solutions that are scalable, agile and easy to use. We use our extensive experience of software development to customise these built-in offerings so they match your business processes. But you won’t be tied to using us in the future, or risk losing the development work if changes are needed, because another Salesforce developer could adapt or build on our work.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Salesforce is user friendly and so are the custom apps we develop, but the productivity of your teams will be significantly improved by hands-on training delivered by the same people who designed and built the system. We can also set up effective admin practices to ensure the integrity and security of your software and data, whilst getting your teams up and running as quickly as possible.</image:caption>

<image:title>Salesforce Consultants - Reporting and Analytics</image:title>
<image:caption>Salesforce is an immensely powerful platform, providing easily customisable reports and highly visual dashboards. Having gained an understanding of your business, and with the experience of building thousands of Salesforce reports, we can take those analytics to the next level. But we can also adapt your set up to extract relevant data and feed it into business intelligence software. This has the benefit of providing powerful historical trend analysis and proving that analysis to users, perhaps at Board level, who do not have a Salesforce license.</image:caption>

<image:title>Salesforce Consultants - Migration and integration</image:title>
<image:caption>We specialise in migrating data from existing systems into Salesforce where it can be used by your teams to drive business performance improvements. For example, for one of our clients we imported information on every major UK construction project that has received planning permission. This was used to identify potential new business and provide leads for their marketing efforts. We can also import your own data to ensure your service and marketing teams have up-to-date and accurate information on every customer. It’s about giving your Salesforce users all the information they need regardless of the source, in one place to take immediate action and make good decisions.</image:caption>

<image:caption>After more than 20 years of working with engineering sector companies, and metalworking in particular, we understand the manufacturing sector and how it works. We bring insight into best practice and how other firms in the sector may have solved specific challenges. We talk at a high level about how to improve your business processes and transform your performance.</image:caption>

<image:title>ERP Consultants - Bolt-on apps to plug the gaps</image:title>
<image:caption>We develop a range of add-on apps that extend the capabilities of ERP systems, such as E2i. Examples include: Production scheduling Looks at all the contracts or projects going through your business and tells you what you should do now and next, when it will be finished and, if relevant, how late it will be. It can account for third-party scheduling, such as painting requirements. It is simple to understand - and effectively automates the business while allowing you to keep control. Quote validation E2i contains powerful and efficient tools for costing metalworking jobs. But it’s hard to understand how the software arrived at those costs and to identify any mistakes that may have been made. Our quote validation app automates the process of checking quotes. It takes the data out of E2i and puts it into a spreadsheet, customised for your business so you can easily spot if there’s something missing or wrong. And if your material content is too high, it will tell you what the mark-up should be to remedy that. Material Price importer An Excel template to send to your suppliers. They fill in the costs of parts you buy and the data can be checked for errors and imported into your ERP software.</image:caption>

<image:title>ERP Consultants - Integration with BI & ongoing support</image:title>
<image:caption>One of the most effective ways to transform your effectiveness and performance is through the use of advanced business intelligence. We integrate your data, from E2i, other ERPs and your other business systems, into tools such as Microsoft’s Power BI and Office 365 suite of applications. We develop your business intelligence to ensure you get the insight you need into your operations, available at a glance whenever you need it. At Bredon West, we also offer similar services for a range of ERP systems. For example, we helped a leading UK metalworking company to implement EPICOR ERP10 and a distributer of industrial products implement SAP Business One.</image:caption>

<image:title>Business Intelligence - Data management</image:title>
<image:caption>One of our core skills is our ability to understand your data sets, extract it, no matter how or where it is stored, and use it to inform management information. We specialise in delivering an in-depth understanding of the potential locked within your data. By working closely with you to understand your operational processes, we can extract exceptionally useful analysis from relatively low level data. By combining data from your smaller or older systems, we can retrieve the modern management insights you need without having to replace them. This saves you money, eliminates disruption and removes the risks associated with a major systems overhaul.</image:caption>

<image:title>Business Intelligence - Analysis</image:title>
<image:caption>This is where the ‘magic’ happens - the data modelling which reshapes the data. We transform and analyse it to provide information which answers your critical questions about business performance. For example, we can build a history of business information from systems, such as Salesforce or an ERP, that don’t necessarily record history. These systems give you a snapshot of where your business is right now. We use the data generated to give you oversight of how things were in the past, how they have changed over time, and the trends that forecast the future. It is during the analysis stage where our commitment to fully and truly understanding your business requirements pays off: it enables us to deliver a better solution tailored to your precise needs.</image:caption>

<image:title>Business Intelligence - Presentation</image:title>
<image:caption>For presenting business intelligence information, we recommend Microsoft’s Power BI service. It is easy to use, familiar to most users, and almost effortless for end users to access within Office 365 applications. It provides high quality graphics and visuals which are impactful and easy to understand. Another crucial advantage of Power BI is the in-built data warehouse, which is remarkably cost effective. However, we also work with a wide variety of solutions - and for many clients we simply present their business intelligence within Microsoft Excel. Where we can, we deliver the analysis is such a way that users can slice and dice their data themselves meaning that they can solve multiple problems without any further outside help.</image:caption>

<image:title>Business Intelligence - Unlocking your data and turning it into insight</image:title>
<image:caption>By taking your data from the various silos across your business, analysing and reshaping it to answer your core questions, we deliver the insight your teams need to improve and transform businesses processes and performance.</image:caption>
